Super nice clean rooms breakfast was ok it was free add on. Pool looks good and clean,hot shower ez in and out I would go back here in the future
The receptionist lady Penny was really nice. She was very helpful with getting my husband and I getting checked in to our room. The room was very clean and they had a iron board, iron, and a hair dryer, We will definitely go back if we are back in the area again..
The room was more updated than shown in pictures online. The pool was warm. The breakfast was just enough. The cinnamon toast is really good. Room was clean, beds comfortable, we had a great stay. I would definitely come back!
Book online!! I went through the hotel to book my room. The price difference between online and at the hotel was $50/night!! Paid almost $400 for 2 nights in Alpena!! Plus, when I walked through the hall, it smelt like wet dog. Then the room smelt like cat pee! I am allergic to cats and the smell in the room triggered my allergies. After I saw the room charge on my credit card went to the front desk to complain.. This is where it gets better . The manager lady working the front desk was very nice and helpful. Even with my frustration she kept very calm and remained helpful. It helped calm me down, realizing that I was going to get what I asked for. She took me through 4 different rooms and allowed me to check which one I would prefer. And was very nice anytime I saw her after that. Also, the housekeepers in our hallway were very friendly and accommodating as well. Breakfast was good enough. Waffle maker is always the best! I will note, that I acknowledge hotels do not allow cats so I should not have smelt cats at all.. I blame that on the customers coming through and sneaking their animals in the hotel... Don't do that. Cat urine ruins fabric and can not be washed out. Be better customers.
Very friendly service and rooms are very clean and great breakfast and great location and close to McDonald's and Apple Bs and lots of other stores close to motel
I was moved here from the Ramada by Hotwire. So glad this was where I landed. While it’s not much to look at from the outside, the rooms were clean, the air conditioner works, WiFi is fast and the bathroom was clean! Staff was great on check in and got me sorted very quickly and with a lot of courtesy. I’d happily stay here again.
Breakfast was yogurt a waffle and optional toast or bagel. Room was really nice, clean and easily accessible. The pool and hot tub were clean and appear to be well maintained. The front desk employees were both friendly and helpful. Definitely going to be staying here again in the future.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It has a little bit of a different architectural design due to upgrades from an older style motel. We enjoyed the layout. The room was comfortable and offered the needed items that we prefer during a hotel stay. The staff was all very personable and willing to answer the needs we requested. We also enjoyed the breakfast that was offered. There were some hot food choices, breads, instant oatmeal and yogurt. I thought it was a good selection for a value place. We plan to stay at this place if we are back to this location.
